The valve head has a built-in wax temperature pack (thermal element), when the ambient temperature changes, the special wax material inside the pack expands and contracts, pushing the valve stem up and down, thus adjusting the valve opening, controlling the flow of hot water and realising thermostatic control. Users can set the target temperature by rotating the temperature control knob on the top of the valve head (usually labelled with numbers 1-5 or temperature scale), and the system automatically maintains a stable room temperature.
