1. For tall buildings with a floor-to-ceiling height greater than 10 meters, zone-based air conditioning may be used when conditions permit.

2. In air-conditioned rooms maintained at positive pressure, the positive pressure value should not exceed 50 Pa (5 mmH₂O).

3. The slope of the drain pipe for the fan coil condensate pan should not be less than 0.01. 4. For air-conditioning systems operating year-round that require only seasonal switching between cooling and heating, a two-pipe closed-loop system should be used; when cooling and heating conditions alternate frequently or both are required simultaneously, a four-pipe closed-loop system may be used.

5. The vertical zoning of the water system shall be determined based on the pressure-bearing capacity of the equipment, piping, and fittings; in two-pipe systems, zoning shall also be arranged according to the building’s orientation.

6. Generally, side air supply via louvered or slot-type air outlets may be used; where conditions permit, the side airflow should be directed to follow the wall surface. In process-controlled air-conditioned rooms, where the permissible room temperature fluctuation range is less than or equal to ±0.5°C, the side-supply airflow should be close-following.

7. Air-conditioned zones should preferably use dual-side air supply. When the room span is less than 18 m, unit-side air supply may be used; return air grilles should be located on the same side as the supply air grilles, below them.

8. Construction items for air conditioning systems: ten specific process categories, including duct fabrication, duct component fabrication, duct system installation, ventilation and air conditioning equipment installation, air conditioning refrigeration system installation, air conditioning water system installation, corrosion protection and thermal insulation, system commissioning, final acceptance, and comprehensive performance testing and adjustment of the project.

9. Main Construction Scope of Air Conditioning Projects: Supply and exhaust air systems, smoke control and exhaust systems, dust removal systems, air conditioning systems, air conditioning purification systems, refrigeration systems, and air conditioning water systems.

10. Air Conditioning Water Systems: Hot and cold water piping systems, cooling water piping systems, condensate piping systems, cooling towers, pumps and auxiliary equipment, valves and components, as well as corrosion protection and thermal insulation for piping and equipment.
